Beliefs
Catholic Christians believe in one God. Majority of Christians believe that God is called the trinity. The trinity includes the Father, the Son and the Holy spirit.
The Father represents the hope, love and source of life.
The son is the son of God. The son of God (Jesus) is to be believed that he was sent from god to this world through Mary whom is believed is a virgin and Joseph (Mary's Husband).
And lastly the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit represents the unity of the Catholic Christians through the love of God.

Myths and Sacred stories
The bible is a form of sacred text that has many myths and sacred stories with in it. The old testament holds some of the myths and sacred stories. Some are the creation story. The creation story was when God created earth and inhabitants over 7 days. Another myth is the Adam and Eve story. This story is when God creates man and 'original sin' transpired.

Some Rituals within the Catholic church are the seven sacraments these sacraments are:
Baptism: Baptism is the first of the seven sacrament. They are usually done when you are a baby however you can get it sone when you are older. When you get baptised and get holy water pored on your head it symbolises Christ's love and free of sin. When you get baptised usually there are God parents. God parents are chosen to provide support and guidance throughout the child's life
Reconciliation: Reconciliation is when you confess your sins and ask for forgiveness from God.
Communion: Communion is when you receive the Eucharist for the first time. It bread and wine symbolises Jesus' body and blood at the last supper.
Conformation: Conformation is when an individual is anointed with holy oil. The oil is usually used in this ceremony to represent the spirit from baptism. The bishop is usually the person who can conduct this ceremony.
Marriage: Marriage is a sacrament that joins a man and woman together. It is believed that they are brought together through God's love.
Holy orders: Holy orders is a sacrament that is done for the people who are involved in the church ie the priest, bishop......
Anointing of the sick: Anointing of the sick is when the poor health of an individual is anointed with holy oil and prayers of their soul through the christian community. It is the time when the individual can place all their suffering in Jesus.

Ethical principles or oral written codes of behaviour
Jesus encourages individuals to preach and spread Gods word. Jesus did not discriminate approaching sinners, foreigners, the ill, despised and in particular the poor. The Catholic Church also talks about various issues that affect our personal. marriage and individual life. the Church also takes a stance on certain issues in attempt to follow God's will.
Religious experience and spirituality
Lent is one of the religious experiences within the Catholic church. Lent happens 40 days before easter. In this time people generally use it for reflection. Throughout the the time of Lent people usually do not eat meat. Lent starts on Ash Wednesday and finishes on Easter Sunday.
Advent is another religious experience. Advent is a countdown 4 weeks prior to christmas where we celebrate the birth of Jesus' birth.

Social Structure

Cardinal: a leading dignitary of the Roman Catholic church. Cardinals are nominated by the pope, and form the Sacred College which elects succeeding popes.
Archbishop: the chief bishop responsible for a large district
Bishop: a senior member of the Christian clergy, usually in charge of a diocese and empowered to confer holy orders
Priest: an ordained minster of the catholic, orthodox, or anglican church, authorised to perform certain rites and administer certain sacraments
Deacon: an ordained minister of an order ranking below that of priest.
Laity: a member of the religous groups but do not perform certain things
